Me With Hammer WIP

So as an engineer I figured a huge hammer would be fun for my steampunk outfit. I tried not to go overboard on proportions, myself being a 6'3'' male and all, so I counter weighted the hammer with a 5 lb. bulb for some additional fun on this tool-turned-weapon. As the typical steampunk officer I have seen has some sort of pistol and or sword as their main weapon, I have chosen this railroad tie style hammer. I am planning to dirty it up and make it look more used, but I could use some thoughts on additional bits and do-dads to really sell the steampunk approach. thoughts?

constructed with various PVC components from the hardware store, black under coat, some metallic paint choices, and soon to be a linen handle I think.
